Challenges 

Didcot Town Council wanted to enhance its Civic Hall meeting spaces, making them attractive to both internal and external users. The goal was twofold: provide a modern, reliable setup for upcoming legislation changes around hybrid council meetings, and generate additional revenue by marketing the spaces to businesses and community groups. 

Approach 

CloudyIT fitted out two larger meeting rooms with Logitech Rally solutions on Microsoft Teams Rooms, complemented by 85” displays and ceiling-mounted microphone pods to allow complete flexibility in room layouts. To support smaller spaces, the council also invested in a portable Meeting Owl solution. The installation was completed in just two days. By combining the Teams Rooms interface with the Microsoft Bookings app, the council now has a seamless system for managing room hire and hybrid meetings.
